Depok – Kasus keberadaan babi ngepet di Kelurahan Bedahan, Kecamatan Sawangan, Depok, ternyata hoaks. Adalah ustaz Adam Ibrahim (44) otak penyebar hoaks itu.
Apa alasan ustaz Adam sebar hoaks babi ngepet di daerahnya? Kapolres Metro Depok, Kombes Imran Edwin Siregar mengatakan motifnya adalah karena ingin tenar.
Ustaz Adam ini ingin dipandang sebagai tokoh spiritual di daerahnya, di Bedahan. Ustaz Adam juga memiliki beberapa pengajian dan majelis taklim.
“Motifnya hanya ingin tenar saja dibuatlah babi ngepet,” ujar Imran di Polres Depok, Kamis (29/4).
Imran mengatakan ustaz Adam ingin legitimasi dari warga bahwa dia bisa menangkap babi ngepet.
Dengan demikian, legalitasnya sebagai seorang tokoh masyarakat semakin diakui oleh warga.
Lebih lanjut Imran mengatakan ustaz Adam ini sudah merencanakan aksinya sejak sebulan lalu.
Dia bersama warga yang juga orang terdekatnya membuat skenario seolah-olah kehilangan duit dan melihat wujud babi ngepet.
“Tidak jelas, itu menurut mereka. Kalau sekarang logikanya kalau hilang ya lapor polisi saja,” ujar Imran. Red.
