JAKARTA – Beredar video aksi unjuk rasa yang berujung kerusuhan dengan menarasikan bahwa demonstrasi tersebut dilaksanakan pada hari ini 24 Juli 2021.
Kepala Divisi Humas Polri Irjen Argo Yuwono memastikan bahwa video yang menyatakan bahwa kerusuhan demo tersebut pada hari ini adalah hoaks atau informasi palsu.
“Itu video hoaks. Faktanya adalah demonstrasi itu merupakan peristiwa lama saat demonstrasi tolak omnibus law ciptaker di Jakarta pada 8 Oktober 2020,” kata Argo kepada wartawan, Jakarta, Sabtu (24/7/2021).
Argo mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk tidak mudah percaya dengan informasi palsu yang dibuat oleh oknum tak bertanggung jawab.
“Masyarakat jangan mudah termakan hoaks. Saring before sharing,” ujar Argo.
Menurut Argo, sampai dengan saat ini, situasi keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (sitkamtibmas) berjalan aman, damai dan kondusif. Tidak ada demonstrasi yang berjalan pada hari ini.
“Situasi aman dan kondusif. Tidak ada gangguan yang berarti,” tutup Argo. Red.
